very funny, yes, I did flush the toilet…and I also replaced the wax seal and the gasket…but we are getting this strong smell from the 2nd floor bathroom…I’m at a loss as to what the problem is or what I have to replace…thanks

Your traps on the fix. might be syphonning are you have a cracked pipe leaving gas in, its hard to say without being there. Flush the toilet and listen for a gurling noise in lav. or sh. or tub, if it is loud maybe you are loosing your trap seal.
