I am having a problem with my steam system. It’s a one pipe system and yesterday evening when the boiler kicked on, a few minutes later water came pouring out of the valves in the radiators. I drained the boiler (very dirty water) and refilled. Restarted the boiler and it happened again. Any ideas on what is causing this or a solution. I have the boiler off right now so please reply quickly.

Check your pressure; it should be less than 2 psig with a 1 psig differential. Read the Steam Tips at http://www.hydronicnetwork.net
