I would like to install a tub in my basement. Unfortunately, the builder roughed in the drain in a terrible location. It is about 6 feet away. The trap in in the slab. Would it be ok to build up a platform for the tub and run the drain pipe the 6 feet to the drain/trap in the floor. This would place the trap about 6 feet away from the drain. Thanks.

Relocate the trap closer to the tub else is sure gunna get smelly real fast!!!!!
Get yerself a proper Plumber to do the job right for ya – it will be worth the small charge in the long run.
