i’ve got a wickes combi boiler, which was installed by a friend of mine, since installation i’ve had a problem with the hot water, when i run a hot tap the boiler fires up and starts to heat the water but after about 30-60 seconds the burners turn off and the hot water becomes cold, it goes on repeating this cycle meaning i can not get any great amount of hot water.
please could somebody help -
Get in touch with the co. who made it , you should have a years warranty on it, something wrong with controls.

Like I said in the gas files get yer friend back to fix the stuff up – the cheapest deal in town is not always the best to have.
