I have an over 40 year old hot water oil fired furnace. Today (its currently 5 degrees out) there began a squealing sound apparently from the pump on back of the furnace. we filled the 3 oil holes with about 3 drops of oil each and it stopped for a few hours. Now its begun again. Any suggestions???

It might take a special oil for the bearing, also they are probably shot.
