My aerators are constantly being clogged by white flakes/chunks/pieces/sediment. Whatever you call it, it looks like small peices of plastic or perhaps clumped up sediment.
I have been told it is from the city water supply, it is calcium buildup in my pipes, and that it is the dip tube in my water heater.
Anyone care to give an opinion?

i’d say it’s the dip tube on the w/h, if it was installed about 6-10 years ago
