I am trying to figure out what to do about hot water heater in house I rent. Unsure of age….has picture of Fred Flinstone on side (lol) not really, but is in an old house 1950ish…… I recently lost all hot water. First it would give about 3 min of “warm” water and now nothing… Apon closer inspection the linolium has a wet stain look, must be from underside and there is a small ring of water around hotwater heater…… I pretty much have to fix everything here….is there hope for heater or am I moving?????

Sounds like heater is leaking and will get worse.Tell the land lord you need new wh. If he dont fix it call the City Plumbing Dept.
