We have a Kohler (K-15173) single-handle faucet and sprayer in the kitchen. When it is running, the water will occasionally and without warning totally stop. When this happens, I can get it started again by squeezing the handle on the sprayer for a second. Has anyone seen this before? Any idea how it can be fixed?
this is hard without taking it apart but, i think the diverter would be my starting point. it might have something floating around behind the diverter and when it gets into the right spot it stops the flow of water. you might take it apart and slowly turn the water on to flush it out. be careful not to flood yourself out.
