hello. i am replacing my kitchen cabinets and need some advice on the plumbing aspect of it. the drainage and the dishwasher shouldn’t be a problem. my question is how to disconnect the sink and leave the new pipes esailly accessible for the new cabinets. the existing set-up is two copper pipes that come through the floor and then through the base of the cabinet on up to the sink. can i cut these pipes just above the base and fit some sort of flexible tubing fitting onto them?? and suggestions would be appreciated.

Cut them off about 8″ above bottom of cab. When you set new cab. cut holes for pipe to come through and solder on straight speedy stops and go from there with youe fexable con.
