Just installed a new faucet, supply hoses and new hot/cold valves under the bathroom sink.

        Problem:

I have a very slow drip leak coming from where the valves connect to the compression fitting-nib. I used teflon tape during the installation and the compression fittings are as tight as I can get them.

Any thoughts on how to stop the slow-drip leak at the compression fitting area??

        Thx

I have luck with a little string packing and pipe dope under the coupling nut.
