        I have 12 1/2″ from bare studs to the center of of the toilet drain. I need to fur the wall out 3/4″ to help line up the shower drain. This 3/4″ plus the 1/2″ sheetrock will leave me with 11 3/4″. Is this enough room to install a toilet designed for 12″ rough-in?

          Gerber & Kohler toilets will fit down to 11 1/4 R I

            Thanks for the advice ~ just out of curiosity – does this also apply to American Standard toilets?

              as long as the tank lid doesn’t overlap the tank in the back you should be o k
