I have a Reliance Sta-Kleen Model 805 gas water heater. Our water is hard and I wanted to drain the heater to remove buildup. I don’t see a drain valve anywhere. Does anyone know where it is or how ot drain it?
        Thanks

Should be a “T” fitting or similar somewhere on the cold water inlet pipe feeding the cylinder that should run to a waste point somewhere.
If you find this drain point – don’t forget to shut down the gas to the cylinder when you drain it otherwise you may cause some serious damage to the cylinder itself by alowing the main burner to activate when the tank is empty.
