MICHAEL MORRIS CLABURN
Every so often our toilet makes a rushing water sound. I have checked around the tank and can’t find any leaks. The toilet and inner mechanisms are 5 years old. The sound is about 15 to 20 seconds long and sounds like the tank is refilling though I have not witnessed that happening. Any sugggestions?—Thanks-Jim

Sounds like you need a new flapper, try afew drops of food coloring in the tank if after 10 min you have it in your bowl you may need a new flapper ,make sure you get the one for your model toilet.
