      Will a clogged strainer on a Watts 25AUB pressure reduction valve cause the valve not to work? I had a new water heater installed yesterday and the pressure release valve keeps popping off. I have not cleaned the strainer and didn’t know if that would fix the problem or not?

      Dirty strainer does not effect the prv. You might need a expansion tank on that new heater, check with your plumber and ask him are look up your heater on http://www.google.com and see if you need an expansion tank.
