Do any of you guys put small 1/2″ peices of copper under toilete flange before screwing to wood floor.New construction.tile floor,some guys do some dont what do you think?I figured thats why they make toilete extension bolts if you needed them.

i NEVER DO, IF IT IS PVC FLANGE JUST SNOG IT DOWN ARE IT WILL CRACK, THATS WHY SOME PUT COPPER UNDER IT , BUT THEY DONT HAVE TO TIGHTEN IT DOWN THAT TIGHT, YOU NEED A LITTLE FOR EXPANTION.
