I have a day & night 395C gas furnace. I haven’t turned it on for 6 months. When I turn up the thermostat – the ignitor goes on, but the gas burners don’t. The ignitor cycles on and off 3 times and then the furnace shuts off.
Do I need a new ignitor or is there something wrong with my burners?

The gas valve is not opening during the ignition cycle, so the gas valve and ignition board require examination as to replacement.

try sanding the flame sensor
