I want to change the h/w heater from gas to oil(have new oil furn w/coil) is Bock a good unit? Have h/w heat should I get that tank-in-a-tank zone thing? I pay 1.05per therm and abt 1.28 gal oil. 4 people 1.5 baths. H/W heater just for summertime, boiler too hot in bsmt.
        Waddaya think?

You are asking which best idea does someone like. Both will give you great hot water at the best cost.

Ever thought of just getting a “Tankless” gas water heating unit – one that does not store water but heats it as and when it is required – the efficiency with them is far greater than that which can be achieved with fuel oil or electricity. Just a thought for ya is all.
