I bought a new Kohler two-piece toilet. After I installed it I noticed that it was filling up on it’s own. I replaced the flimsy flapper it came with but no luck. I turned the water off and marked the water level in the tank to see at what point the leak would stop and it didn’t stop until the tank was practically bone-dry! There is no external leakage. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks.

this happened to me once it was the flush valve not properly tightened it was just a guess at the time but it worked
