            Thank you for your prompt reply. I did get a response from Plumbing Parts Depot. My concern is the availability(they gave me a list) but foremost is that the other links have discussed the lead content makes using these parts not for potable water. What is your experience/opinion on this subject. I have two young children and of course am seriously concerned about this.

              I dont know but i lived in a house that had copper solered with 50/50 solder for 27 yrs. and had no trouble, its up to you.
