I have a 2 piece shower stall unit. The base has a crack and permits water to leak through to 2nd floor. Is there any way to insert a liner over the old base so as to avoid tearing out the whole unit? The base slides in behind the wall unit piece…thus it would appear that both pieces would have to come out to replace the base unit. Looking for a way out???

If it is some kind of pvc maybe you can patch it. Try a supply house and ask if they have something.
