When I flush the toilet, the bowl will fill up but not drain. What I have to do is fill a container with about a 1/2 gallon of water and dump it in as the toilet flushes and it will drain. There is no problem with it actually emptying when I dump in the additional water. I would like to add that the water pressure in my place is rather poor, but it is this way in other MHs in our community.
Do you think it is due to the lack of good water pressure? or should I just replace the whole toilet?

Check the water level in the tank.You might have to raise the level.Most water closets have a water level line in the tank.
