Help! I live on the 3rd floor of a condo building and the pipes leading to my washing machine stink badly. Weird thing is, its not consistent – it seems to occur more often in the cooler months and not at all during summer. What the heck is going on? My HOA won’t do anything because no one else reports this problem. I’m on the top floor – could that have something to do with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you know if there is a trap in the waste line, you might have alergy built up in the pipe, Try a mix of water and el. dishwasher soap (Poder) and dunp it down the pipe, if it dont work go to swimming pool supply and get some alergy preventer, if that dont work call your Plumbing Inspecter are the Healt Dept.
