I am relocating washer and dryer to second floor of my house. Looking for information as to plumbing code for a drain for overflow of washer.I live in Indianapolis,IN. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Are you talking about a pan with a drain in it, If you are you need a pan and 1-1/2″ drain and run it in wall to a basement fl. Dr.The drain for the washer can be 2″ or 3″ and has to be connected into San. line and vent through the roof.
