My Electric Hot Water heater makes a loud clicking sound when we use significant hot water (Washing machine, Shower, etc). I have traced it back to the Hot Water heater checking the pipes along the way to make sure that they weren’t banging on something. If you stand next to the Hot water heater you can hear it coming form inside it. Any help would be appreciated.

If it only happens when the water heater is heating then it’s probably just expansion movement inside as the water is heating and expanding. Check that the pressure rating of the T&P valve does not exceed the pressure rating of the water heater. Both should have the ratings on them.
