We recently moved into a home that has a cultured marble shower stall in the ensuite. Running up from the floor in one wall there is a fine crack, probably about 12
inches long or so. Sometime in the past somebody has tried to repair this crack using something (looks perhaps like some kind of epoxy?). With the passage of time
this repair material has become very yellowed and I can tell by the presence of black mildew in the crack that water is now getting through or under the repair
material into the crack. Any ideas how to go about repairing this again? Thanks

You can look in the yellow pages in your area under the appropriate heading for cultured marble and see if the local manufacturers will try a repair. Since cultured marble manufacturig is site specific, I doubt that you will get a satisfactory response.
Your alternative is to remove the existing repair, bleach out the mildew, let dry for a day at least, and apply a high quality clear silicone caulk.

Look in the phone book for Fiberglass Repairs. These companies repair cast-iron and cultured marble damages also.
