In replacing my toilet tank to my Gerber floor mount toilet (after my 3 year old flushed a plastic spoon), I tightened the bolts too tight and of course cracked the tank.
I wondered if I can simply replace the tank or should I buy a new one which I hate since they have the low flush.

the new style tank will fit just fine however you will have to replace the flush valve to get the proper flush on the older bowl
