We have two Speakmen Sentinel shower valves. They both, over time, have lost the ability to adjust for hotter water. I am down to luke warm in one bathroom now, cool in the other.

I have taken it apart, to the point of removing the plungers, and cleaned them, hoping to open some clog. No effect. It *looks* OK to my untrained eye.

This shower is likely 30 years old. But its great and I’d like to keep it if I can.

What do I need to do to get a hot shower?

        Many thanks.
