With in the last year I’ve put in three new cartridge in my single lever sink valve, they work smooth for a while but then get real stiff.
Any one else run into this. -
Ony wen yuo got sand or other hardnes in tha watre.

sand and harness are not a problem in this area,
I’m wondering if it’s the grease on the stems??

blm: did you replace the cartridge with a Moen made cartridge, or an el cheapo generic from Taiwan?
We have this same problem all the time, that’s why a real Moen replacement costs 20 bucks at the discount store.
