i have a sill cock which cannot be shut off(something is broken inside). how difficult is it to replace? home is 8 yrs old. sill cock looks to be screwed onto a fitting soldered to the copper line. is this as simple as it looks?

It would be a piece of cake for a plumber ,but the only way you can find out if it would be simple for you is to try it.Dont forget to back up the fitting.

An angle lawn faucet would be a female thread, frost proof silcocks used for residental plumbing usually have a male thread or a sweat end. Some have a female thread inside of the male end also.
