I would appreciate anyone’s advice on this. Yes, our toilet flapper was sticking, so my dear son opened the tank lid and did the old “jiggle” thing and DROPPED the lid into the tank. Very soon after I heard running water and went in to find water draining from the tank all over the floor. I got the water turned off at the wall and I’m guessing that the tank is cracked– although it’s rather hard to really tell. My question is… is there a sealant for this or will I have to replace the tank and/or the entire toilet?????? No, I’m NOT excited about this!
