No Hub means???

        Can you tell me what “No Hub” means when referring to sinks or piping? Further is there a good
        reference for plumbing terms/recommended assembly that you can recommend?

          It means nothing as far as a sink is concerned. It is a method of joining cast-iron piping that does not use hubs with either Ty-seal or lead joints.

            No hub = No hub Cast Iron piping and fittings There are several standards to the NH coupling syatems. Somerequire only 60 Inch torque up to 125in pounds
