I have a Bradford White gas water heater. 5 years old. The power vent comes on, but the burner won’t light. I hear a click, but no flame. If I unplug for .5 hour and re-try, sometimes it will light.

What is the rod sensor? Would that be located close to the spark ignitor? Please advise. Thanks for the response.
