valve body to short for handle installation, any suggestion?

        Im installing a new price pfister 3 handle faucet for the bath/shower. I ran into a big problem once i got the 1/2 inch green board and shower wall up the valve body is to short for the handle to screw on to. This is all new to me any suggestions would be wonderful.

          Normally NOT A big deal.

          Before you get into more trouble contact PF and ask about a a stem extender.

          Hopefully you can get one for the valve you installed
