        I purchased a house 1 year ago.
Upto about 2 weeks ago I have had no trouble with my water supply.
About 2 weeks ago I noticed when I turn my taps on (any tap in house, including washing machine) it splaters as their is air in the pipe.

I live in town and am on local water supply.
It occurs with hot & cold water.
after running the water for a few seconds it stops.
The longer the water sits the larger the air blast.

Anyone with a suggestion as to what this is, and how I can fix it??

        Thanks

It maybe the local water supplier is aerating the water for some reason, call them to find out before you invest in a service call from a licensed plumber
