I recently replaced my electric hot water heater. I had a freind who is a plumber by trade do the work. Everything went fine. The only problem I have now is air in the line. When I turn on the hot water I get a few blasts of air from the line until water starts to run. This happens on all fausets. What do you think the problem may be?

Well if he is a licensed Master this is an easy fix why not ask yor plumber what he did wrong?

By the way for your information Water cannot be compressed BUT air in the system can espwcially when heated “Pressure Temperature Relationship”

In other words this condition is exactly what causes the explosions you read about.

But hey dont take my word for it ask your friend the plumber by trade to explain it to you.. GOOD LUCK

If you have the wrong annode type for the water then it will produce the gas.
