Any suggestions on how to loosen 100 y/o bolts on older Radiators? I have a one pipe steam system with a leaky unit. It seems simple enough to swap out a Radiator but I can’t seem to loosen the nut that holds it in. The valve was replaced recently (I just bought the house) it’s new and I can see the teflon tape that was used. Any tricks to getting these thing off would be appreciated.
        Thanks

If your talking about the rods that hold the sections together just use a sawzall or bolt cutter THEN separate the sections so it is more manageable to take away.

If your talking the bolts that hold rads against the wall use a lump hammer and cold chisel BECAREFUL to break the bolt head.
