My Caroma dual-flush cistern sometimes will not stop flushing. The float stays down at the bottom of the cistern and the water keeps flowing. Most of the time it works okay but sometimes it just keeps flushing, which can cause much water to be wasted. Can anyone please advise me how to fix the problem? I live in Melbourne, Australia.

The outlet washer starts to curl and fray, this is enough to grab the side out the outlet cylinder. Just replace the washer with an ORIGINAL and it should last a few more years.
