I have a cast iron sink & I want to install new faucets. I’m assuming that modern faucets are bigger around than the existing faucets.

        Two questions:
        1. What kind of hole-saw should I use to make the holes bigger? (e.g. diamond, carbide, …)
        2. What size/diameter hole-saw will I need?

All hole sizes in sinks are 1 1/4 diameter. You shouldn’t need to cut a larger hole in your cast iron sink for all of the faucet manufacturers use the 1 1/4 dia. as the standard. If you need to cut an extra hole in your sink please see the folowing site.
