I’m getting a slow hot water flow through my shower, kitchen, & one of my bathroom faucets. What is surprising all the other faucets through the house are OK. Why is this happening and what is the solution? Thanks in advance.

A defective dip tube in your water heater is probably the cause of your problem. Defective dip tubes were installed in certain heaters built in the early 90’s. The dip tupe disintegrates and clogs the pipes and fixtures. Check the serial number of your water heater against the list provided by this web site. If it is the dip tube, full repairs are covered by a settlement fund if an authorized plumber does the work.
