Water starts out warm, but about 30 seconds into a shower the water gets very hot then very cold and keeps alternating throughout the shower. We’ve replaced the element in the hot water heater, but still have the same problem.

What brand showerbody do you have?

Do you have a shower head with an integral stop (shut off) acting as a mixing valve?

Do you have check valves on BOTH the hot and cold water lines for your washing machine?

Did your plumber know to install a heat sink on the Cold water supply to your heater?

Did you replace both elememts if applicable? and the list goes on
