I am interested in installing easily accessible water shut-offs in some multifamily bldgs I own. Does anyone know of a low voltage electric solenoid valve that I could install in the main water line and have activated by a switch in the main hallway. I imagine it would be similar to an irrigation solenoid valve except it would be open in the unenergized position.

On certain heating applications I have to install a normally open Or normally closed valve ( NO or NC) depending on wiring and job requirements and type of heat.

Rather then try to educate the non knowing “plbg & heatin” guys ILL just give you the name of good manufacturers of Bronze body valves and you can explain exactly your requirements and let them know what voltage you want to use.

My personal choice is either Leslie Valves or McDonnell & Miller.
