I have a fiberglass shower pan that I’m trying to remove. It appears to be being held in place by the drain flange. Is there an easy way to remove the drain?

1- Get a hammer ands chisel and make a hole a few inches from the 2″ drain pipe.

2- Get a reciprocating saw and cut all around the drain opening be careful NOT to cut the pipe and cut out the base only.

3- after you make a circle around the drain opening you can then remove some tiles near the top of this pan and take the pan out.

4- Now all you do is take the reciprocating saw and cut off GENTLY the last little piece of this drain connection

You may want to put a rag in this drain pipe to prevent debris from going in.
          SylvanLMP Good luck
