I own a 30yr old home in which hard water is supplied by a well. Water pressure is fine throughout home, except for in one bathroom. It is especially low in the shower. I have a water softener, but previous owner only intermittently used it. Why would this low pressure be occuring only in this bathroom? And what is the fix?

I have a friend with the same symptoms, but his water comes from the water company. I haven’t heard him complain about the other fixtures like the sink or toilet, so just like ewinger, I would be extremely appreciative to hear your insights.

          Thanks.
