        I’m having trouble with a Reliance Electric Hot Water Heater, but can’t seem to find a number for the manufacturer. Does anyone have a number for Reliance, or know if they were bought out by another outfit.

          They were not bought out since they were never an indepent company. They are a DYI sub-brand of State Water Heaters. What is the problem? If it is leaking, Home Depot will usually take them back and either replace it with a GE or give you a refund. Any other problem is not brand specific and any plumber can fix it.
