our brass tub drain discolers badly. any sugestion will be helpful thank you

What type of cleansing agent are you using on the bathtub? Some brass products will discolor with use of the newer types of bathtub cleanser. You may have to change the drain to on that has what some manufacturers call the “Brilliance” finish to stop the discoloration.Monty
