Afer a flush my toilet clogged without my knowledge (I went back to sleep). It overflowed and caused major water damage throughout my home. Does this happen to a lot of people? After this happened I actually designed a cheap mechanically, unobtrusive device to prevent the overflow. Does anyone have advice as to what I should do with this idea/product? Should I have a major manufacturer develop, manufacture and distribute it? If it was cheap, easy to install and it worked, would anyone buy it? Please give me your thoughts and please recommend companies that I should contact with my idea/product.
