my hotwater heater will flip breaker when heated up. my temp. is set at 125. when tripping breaker back it trips again in about 5 min. has a new breaker any suggestions would be appreciated i’m not educated in this area thanks
A breaker trips because the power drawn through it is excessive. the breaker heats up and releases to prevent fires. Any incorrect path of electricity, such as a wire touching the grounded body of the appliance or running electricity through the water because the heating element is broken will cause a good breaker to trip. Have an experienced plumber check it out.
