I have to clean the aerators for my bathroom faucets every couple of weeks in order to remove some small, white-colored chips which clog them up. These chips are easily crushed by hands and look like grouts. The build-up is especially bad after a heavy rain. Does anyone know where these sediments may be coming from ?

        Thanks

Apparently this is a flaw with several brands of hot water systems in the USA (Im Aussie) from the postings here I believe there is some form of litigation going on over this (of course there is, its happening in America) search the web looking for “faulty dip tubs”
