        my electric water heater began to leak at the bottom. is there anyway i could fix it myself.

          If it is condensation it will stop IF it is a leak REPLACEMENT is needed

            Connie,Turn off the electricity,remove the cover plates and check to make sure the element gaskets are ok.If they are check the hose connection at the bottom of the tank to make sure it is ok.If these are fine then replacement is probably the next step.Dont forget to turn the electricity back on.

              No, there is no way to fix a leaking water heater tank. If you’ve never noticed condensation around your water heater before, then condensation is not likely to be your problem, more likely you’ve got a leak in the w/h tank. Your water heater needs to be replaced
