        Disposal hums but does not spin when turned on. How can I unstick it?

          look on the bottom of the disposal, there shuld be a large allen screw there, stick an allen wrench in there and give it a turn, this should do it.

            Thanks Chuck that was a good idea but it didn’t work. I was able to move it a little but it is still stuck.

              Success! I had to get a little more violent with the Allen wrench and use pliers to break it loose.
